When Thanathorn Juangrungruangkit cautioned that Thailand shouldn’t put all bets on one horse, the Astra-Zeneca vaccine, he received a storm of condemnations, including Section 112, lese majeste charges.
With the record-breaking third outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand, General Prayut Chan-o-cha yesterday (16 April) announced that he’s looking into other horses.
In true General Prayut fashion, however, after he listed the horses, he said:
“We have contacted them all, but whether they have any to sell is up to them.”
He also stated:
“I give my life to the Thai people and the Thai nation. I must perform my duties to the fullest. Until I can’t, or until I don’t.”
